  1. Realm Homeros
    Why speculate? >>
In this article we not only attempt to explain our motivation for speculating about the future but also indulge ourselves in an hard-core social critic, an unpleasant job dictated by the context of our discussion and tolerated, even if not explicitly favored by the Muses. Furthermore we offer the reader here (as well as on the main page Realm Homeros (Words) some explanations concerning this realm and some arguments regarding the premise and methodology of the exposition. And the thread of the discussion is highlighted within the framework of our major theme in this Realm _ Homo sapiens and Civilizations, which should give the interested reader a fairly good idea of the underlying theme and an inkling of the path that the narrative is developing along. Moreover the older articles have been reedited and supplemented with additional bibliographical annotations and summaries.
  2. Realm Homeros
Oh! That disdain for Idealism (afterthoughts) >>
Here we carry the contentions raised earlier in the foregoing articles (Realm Homeros, articles 1 to 5) concerning Myth, Logos, Poetry, Homer and Socrates to their logical conclusions and offer according to our opinion some plausible explanations for that disdain for idealism per se, that has forced many great minds to torturously mold and redesign their basic philosophy in order to cramp it within the straitjacket of modernism, that explicitly disdains idealism, both in the leftist and the rightist domains. They all, washing hands like Pontius Pilate, have left here only wisps of some stale deodorants hanging in the air, afraid to rattle on the current paradigms and social-consens. Or worse left it over to the clergy, to do what they please with it. Banned from the academia and Real-Politik it has only raised some still more primitive stone-age ghosts disguised in the vinyl-plastic suits and ties of the modern era. True some more daring souls have stood steadfast in their innate beliefs, that idealism has contributed more than anything else toward the major reformations of almost all the social structures in the world. Reformations, that really count. And they would have all been impossible to achieve in the atmosphere of modern selfish gene theories, material-historicism or the algebra of the Structuralists or for that matter within the folds of more modern chaotic theories concerning the dictates of some impersonal trading centers of the world, that have made many politicians learn their catechism from the economists and free themselves from responsibilities inherited from the past or those imposed by their biological heritage. Living in a perpetual violence toward the biological world, toward the bio-heritage inside their bodies and outside their homes, it is no wonder, that they have managed to produce a wage worker, who would like to shoot all the singing birds in the morning, when they wake him up early, but who will never complain about that all pervasive combustion engine, that has transformed communal gathering places (apart from shopping), children's playgrounds and frog-ponds into a chaos of cement and noise, real noise not bird-singing, or even contributed to local mortality. The decibel-polluted human being is probably not even aware of the malaise of our century, the influence of a primitive fossil-fuel combustion engine, that has radically transformed our cities into straight-lines, curved-lines, squares, rectangles and polygonal of cement and decibels and blessed us with homes with bigger garages than guest-rooms. It has probably contributed more toward the transformation of modern population centers than anything else including the old man river. The best coral gardens in the world are generally to be found there, where there are no roads leading directly to the place. I am sure that future generations will call our decibel-inflated combustion-engine age, as the reptilian era of industrialization. But to make a quantum spring into a more bio-sciences oriented soft revolution, we will need something more than money, and I believe it will be just that, what we have consistently disdained in the past century: A big dose of Idealism!
Of course, the idealist does not need some religious institution for his idealism. Just mother Nature will do.
    Ho!
    Watch! Watch!
A small bird crossing the Atlantic!
No decibels! No tank-loads of costly fuel, that may involve:
    1. waging wars
    2. chaos at trading-centers that has repercussive effects on even the onions you eat, the clothes you wear and the job you have
    3. national hegemonies, ethnic-cleansing, annihilation of families, multiplication of orphans, destruction of habitat and flora and fauna

Just a few calories of fat.
No big runways. No blasting of neighborhoods. Not another big project for a highway from and to airport.
No coffee-drugged watchful men and women in watch towers.
Able to alight on ground, on the branch of tree, anywhere on land.
Know the greatness of mother nature, you won't even notice it!

That is mother Nature. Right out there.
    And we can learn.
Learn to fly like a swallow!
    That is idealism.

    Man on the Beach >>
Here we discuss the photography of Lartigue and the modern beach culture, spiced with a bit of a nostalgia for the under-developed beaches of the bygone centuries.
  4. Artwork | Drawings
    Dürer, Holbein & Vermeer >>
This, already existing page with copies of the works of the artists, is now supplemented with a short article concerning these artists and another artist Carl Graeb; with links to some of the websites exhibiting or dedicated to their works.

2. For the returning Visitor.

At first glance you may not perceive any changes at this site. Moreover our feature articles, image downloads and news-feeds are at presently not being updated. There is a valid reason behind it.

Since the beginning of year 2007 this site (mushtaqbhat.com) is being thoroughly revamped. Our first priority at present is to make the site standards complaint. All the revamped pages should exhibit from WC3 validated Markup and styling. Pages that do not possess a valid Markup will be declared as such and moreover should offer the visitor an alternative that validates.

We hope that the returning visitor will bear this fact with patience, till all of this site is standards complaint, after which we hope to update the site map (which is rather outdated) feature stories and the news feeds. Below is a brief summary of all the Themes, Sections and Modules that have been revamped.

I may also add here, that many of the file names have also been changed. They had originally been assigned without any regard to small and capital letters. But since I am hosting this site on an Apache server, I have renamed the files and may have forgotten to implement a redirect for a few files. Sorry for any inconvenience that it may entail. There are some files however that do not exist anymore, but the old topics should more or less be all there, if only under a new name.

Thanks for bearing with me

3. Themes already revamped

We are happy with the result, not because the presentation is what we would really wish it to be like, but because we have some less nagging thoughts concerning the standards incompliance of the pages. A relief, even though there are still many pages eying us with reproach! It was worth offering our vacations for the occasion. That old superego Dame, conscience. This means that our respected visitors will not see any new major developments in our regular features here and in any of the narratives at the Realm of the Muses.org for a while, till the other sections have not been made standards complaint. Hoping for the visitors understanding.

4. Concerning Presentation

This site is presently being revamped in order to be standards complaint. Sometimes this is done on the fly and in case it causes any temporary inconveniences, I beg in advance, for your apology.
Furthermore these pages are being optimized for latest browser versions (2007). They are not being hacked for older versions. I may justifiably emphasize here the fact, that this is an artist web site and as such relies very much on graphic. This fact also applies to the sections dealing with literature, where for illustrative purposes, a great deal of emphasis is laid on graphic too. Therefore I do not want to burden the already weighty pages with elaborate, sometimes even mind boggling hacks! This however does not free me from obligations toward the impaired persons of our community, which however may be hopefully more fulfilled, by being standards complaint, rather than universally complaint to all the browsers, available at present and whose use moreover may reflect more the idiosyncrasies of some specific individuals rather than the needs of the truly impaired. That is the reason, why here a standards rather than a browser compliance is given the preference.
If however, I do really have interested visitors with older browser versions, who are for some reasons unable to upgrade their browsers and have difficulties accessing the content at this site, it is strongly recommended to contact the webmaster and explain the issue. Otherwise I see no reason to waste time on something, meant to satisfy an uninvolved passing mini-seconds-lasting curiosity of some click-friendly visitor. But if the interest is there and you contact me, I presume it would be my duty to enhance the site and do myself a favor. So please do not shy away from expressing your complaint.

5. Concerning Content

This Site is not restricted to any age. It is even recommended for children, although I admit, the language and the terms may need an adults assistance at present. However I hope to have a separate module (especially in Temnography) that is fully oriented toward children going up sometimes in near future.
Moreover this site may display human body without social appendages, clothing or other things. The purpose may or may not be educative (since that is something dependent upon the recipients point of view and not mine), but I can say, they are meant to to serve an educative mission and an artists destiny and have certainly no purely commercial purpose or for that matter are not meant as a provocation for its own sake. Same applies to literary output. Some of the characters may employ a language, that reflects the real life and the language out there (which is often the in here in private life), but they have been kept to the minimum, sometimes at the cost of foregoing a significant part of the real world _ something, that unfortunately is so bad, that we have to hide it from our children.
